ABOUT LIZ

Hi, l am Chef Liz, a highly motivated and result-oriented professional Caterer.
I am the owner/CEO of Liz Catering Services (LCS) located in Damascus, Maryland, USA. I am originally from Ghana, West Africa but currently residing in Maryland, USA.

I graduated from Accra Polytechnic in Ghana with a Diploma in Culinary Studies. I worked for some Ghanaian hotels and later founded and ran my own restaurant called Mandela Restaurant in Accra, Ghana. I also catered for several public and private events before relocating to USA. I have always been a natural- born cook. I acquired my passion for cooking from my late mom, who nurtured me since my childhood in Ghana.

When l came to the USA, I worked in the health sector for a while. In my workplace, my culinary skills were soon revealed to my friends and colleagues after they had a taste of my lunch foods. They started requesting me to cook for them; first for free but later became a side business. Instantly, word spread out about my cooking skills. With time, I got the urge to pursue my cooking career by establishing Liz Catering Services. My greatest motivation is to maintain high customer value by cooking appetizing and healthy homemade foods prepared with good quality and healthy ingredients, while also providing excellent catering services to my valued clients on their special occasions.

We cater for weddings, engagements, birthdays, funerals etc. with delicious, mouth- watering meals served professionally with precision. Our foods are not only visually appealing but tasty. We also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Our novelty attractive and well packaged box lunches and snacks are superb and suitable for serving in all celebrations.

Liz Catering Services provides direct food deliveries to homes, offices and events venues. Food pickups are included in our services. We also serve convenient and quick dinners for career people and families on request.
